Birds in Art 2023 Opening Day

Since 1976, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum has organized Birds in Art annually, seeking to present the very best contemporary artistic interpretations of birds and related subject matter. Each September, the weekend following Labor Day, we come together to celebrate the opening of the exhibition. 2023 will mark the 48th anniversary of Birds in Art.
Saturday, September 9th – Birds in Art Public Opening
– Master Artist, Paul Rhymer, will give a presentation from 9-10am
– Artists in Action 10:30-11:30am
– Museum is open 10am to 5pm for viewing of exhibition
