Art and storytelling from the lens of an immigrant. Join LYWAM on
Wednesday, FEBRUARY 14, 5 – 7 pm OPEN STUDIO SESSION
Visit the Glass Box Studio at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and observe Artist in Residence Yuyi Morales at work. Engage in conversations about personal narratives, imagination, and storytelling while you witness her illustrations come to life.
Yuyi Morales will share her personal influences and connection to Mexican culture as well as her storytelling and art making processes with visitors.
Bring your family, friends, co-workers or come alone, either way you are amongst friends.
