Second Annual Marathon Lions Rib River Float!!

Update! Due to worsening weather as the day goes on, we are changing the time to drop off our kayaks in Rib Falls to 9:15, then drive down to Lions Park in Marathon to drop off our cars and get the shuttles back to Rib Falls for a 10:00 start!
Also, it’s not too late to change your mind and come! On site day of registration is available with check or cash! It’s too late to get the t-shirt, but you will still get a free shuttle and an awesome meal with homemade desserts afterwards with a FREE alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink of your choice at Arrow Tap! They are also raffling off a Sun Dolphin kayak and have basket raffles available at Arrow Tap!!
This is a fundraiser put on by the Marathon Lions Club to raise money for restoration of the riverfront Lions Park in Marathon City and other Marathon Lions projects!
“Day of” registration from 9-12 at Rib Falls. You will drive to Rib Falls FIRST and drop off your kayaks, canoes, or tubes here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WxN1XNEGRGD6zNbX9
Then, one member from each party will take their vehicle down to Lions Park in Marathon City, where Lions members will give you a ride back to the float start at Rib Falls! this should get you to the entrance of lions park. just keep driving until you see the large parking lot by the bathrooms!:

Last shuttle/drop off ends at 1 pm…
So.. you can start anytime between 10:00 and 1:00.
Our Adventure Club will plan on meeting at the Rib Falls boat drop off location at 10:30.
Cookout lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs and brats will be provided to all those who are registered at Arrow Tap in Marathon City when you’re done! Plus, one FREE DRINK!!! After that, cash bar will be also be available!
Float can be with kayaks, canoes, or inner tubes. Based on my experience with the shallows/riffles/rapids on this section, the most pleasant experience will be with canoes or kayaks.
Cost is $25 for adults and includes a t-shirt (pre-registered only), shuttle, lunch, and a free drink!!
Discounted rate for youth 13 to 17 is $20, and 12 and under only $15!
