Mack John (mackjohnmusic.bandcamp.com) is a singer-songwriter based in the Pacific Northwest with a voice as intimate and powerful as the stories she tells. Her songs are a captivating blend of whimsical melodies, relatable lyrics, and heartfelt vocals that transport listeners to a world of wonder and introspection. Inspired by artists like Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morissette, and Sheryl Crow, Mack’s music is both relatable and poignant, providing a haven for listeners seeking refuge from societal expectations and an invitation to embrace their authentic selves.
Mack spent some time living in Wausau a few years ago, where she recorded her debut album, Not Ready (released March 2023), with friend and producer Nathan Vergin. She’ll be joined on the taproom stage by her friends Hunter Nicholson and Christina.

Born and raised in the northwoods of Wisconsin, classically trained multi-instrumentalist Hunter Nicholson draws upon his musical abilities to create ambient sounds inspired by his love of nature, visual art, traveling, and collaboration. Hunter elevates his music by juxtaposing traditional techniques with modern technologies, creating a truly unorthodox musical experience that expands the possibilities of musical expression.
