Spring Break in the Gardens
March 24 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
March 20th-24th, 8:30 am-12:00 pm
Ages: 1st-4th graders
Members: $25 per day
Nonmembers: $30 per day
Pick and choose the days that work best for you!
Monday: Mad Scientist Monday
Observe, hypothesize, and experiment like a scientist for a morning! Plants and nature hold many mysteries and make us ask a lot of questions, and we can test out some experiments in the Gardens to find some answers!
Tuesday: Saptastic Tuesday
Though the weather is soggy this time of year, we love how the maples are sappy! Tap trees and learn how syrup is made from the tree to your plate of pancakes.
Wednesday: Wild Wanderers Wednesday
Do you enjoy wandering in the wild? We’ll spend the day on an adventure, finding clues and solving riddles to find a treasure at the end of the trail.
Thursday: Thriving Thursday
How did the animals that call the Gardens home survive (and even thrive) over the long, cold winter? We’ll talk about some ways they protected themselves from the cold and make some shelters of our own.
Friday: Floral Friday
All about the flora found at the Gardens! We will do some gardening work and prep the Gardens for planting. We’ll also dissect some flowers and do some botanical art.
