Soil Health and Composting

During this free virtual class with the Marathon County Public Library and Extension Marathon County, attendees will learn the basics of soil texture and how pH affects nutrient availability in the soil. The benefits of adding compost to sandy and clay soils, and how to get started with composting, will also be covered. Participants will also get information about fertilizers and how primary nutrients (NPK) affect plant growth.
