Children love our Sensory Story Times! These story times are unique in that the children enjoy listening to the stories while exploring themed sensory bins that bring the stories to life.
Afterwards, children can join us in the Art Studio to participate in a variety of “snowy” hands-on activities themed after the stories.
1. Explore and play in an Itsy Bitsy Snowman themed sensory bin
2. Explore a real snow bin and create snow caves and animal habitats
3. Build with mini colorful and clear ice blocks
4. Explore and create with super soft, homemade play dough
5. Paint with frozen liquid watercolors
Sensory Story Time and activities are included with general daily admission of $5/child and $1/Adult to the Greater Wausau Children’s Museum or $1/child Museums for All admission and free for GWCM Annual Pass Holders.
