MCPL and Colossal Fossils Present: The Mammoth Hunter

November 3 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Local kids and their parents can join the Marathon County Public Library and Colossal Fossils for 16 weeks of natural history presentations that will teach, captivate, and inspire!
Parents can sign their kids up to attend any, or all, of the 16 virtual sessions that occur between September 8 and December 22. Sessions will cover such topics as dinosaurs, the Ice Age, and ancient music, as well as women in science, primitive fishing, and practical skills like fire building and rope-making. A different subject will be covered each week, and all classes are free! Virtual attendees will also be able to ask questions at the end of each session, too.
This session, on November 3, will feature Sean, The Mammoth Hunter, who will talk about ways humans survived during the Ice Age, and how you can still use some of those practical skills today.
These programs are free and open to the public via Zoom. Registration is required. You can sign up for as many sessions as you’d like by visiting here: After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with info on joining the meeting. Call 715-261-7220 for more information.
