Mack John is nakedly honest about the way she feels about herself and her surroundings. Originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Mack began writing songs before even hitting the double digits. Now in her twenties, she is inspired by the emotional rawness of musicians like Soccer Mommy, Japanese Breakfast, Haley Heynderickx, and Lucy Dacus.
Alongside dreamily beautiful and, at times, haunting melodies, Mack John’s poignant, vulnerable, and occasionally playful lyrics nudge listeners toward deeper reflection.
Mack John’s debut EP, titled Any Day You Can Die, will be released in 2022. Her recording and production partner, Nathan Vergin, will join her on the taproom stage.
