Local Author Panel and Book Fair
September 24 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join us at the Marathon County Public Library as we speak with – and celebrate! – local authors during the Central Wisconsin Book Festival!
We’ll be joined by authors John Armbruster, Mary Ellen Marnholtz and Cheryl Wolken, respectively, for a panel discussion moderated by CWBF’s Jill Stukenberg. John’s novel “Tailspin” is generating some serious buzz, Cheryl’s book “The ABC’s of Wausau” has become a local favorite, and Mary Ellen is the author of the supernatural mystery “The Doorway to Forever” and a soon-to-be-published young adult story. All three live in the area and will speak to us about their work, writing in general and living the life of a Wisconsin writer.
We’ve also invited other local writers to set up tables around the second floor of MCPL Wausau on Saturday, and patrons are invited to stop by and walk around for a meet and greet and (hopefully) pick up a book or two or more! In addition to our panelists, some of the authors expected to join us include Eli Pritzl, Alice Heinrich, Jon Frazier, Jessica Kopecky, James Botsford, Rand Atkinson and Thomas Burg.
Free and open to the public, no registration required.
