“Letting Perseverance Finish” With Dr. Ozalle Toms

March 21 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Hear about the life experiences of a local community leader during a special author visit and book talk at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters!
Dr. Ozalle Toms currently serves as the Campus Executive at UW-Stevens Point at Wausau. In her memoir “Letting Perseverance Finish,” Toms details her unpredictable and difficult life growing up in Detroit, Michigan. Through many hardships – including passing through the foster care system – Toms persevered as she made her way into adulthood. But her story is also about hope, faith and forgiveness, and a declaration that your past doesn’t have to determine your future. Dr. Toms will discuss her reasons for writing the book, the process behind it, and answer audience questions.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230.
