Let’s Go Curling! Learn2Curl #1

Before the season begins, we host Learn-to-Curl events that teach the basics of curling. When you attend a learn-to-curl event you’ll get instruction from our members and you will learn:
The history of Curling, the sportsmanship that drive the game, and some of the terminology used when playing.
How to be safe when walking on the ice and delivering a stone.
Proper delivery technique.
How to put the “curl” into curling.
How to sweep a stone.
How to score an end.
We also go through how to become a member and the leagues that are available to new curlers.
If you cannot get low and deliver a stone like an Olympian, do not worry! We also can teach you how to stick-curl like shuffleboard!
Group registration is encouraged so we can ensure that you are learning with your friends and family!
Cost is $10/person.
