Holiday Parade

Join Wausau Events for the Annual Holiday Parade in Wausau, WI!
PARADE ROUTE:
The parade kicks off at 6:30 PM from Marathon Park, and will continue to Downtown Wausau! Attendees can watch the parade from any street along the route.
WARMING PARTY:
The warming party will take place inside the Great Hall at the Grand Theater from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This will be open before the parade reaches downtown, so there’s no need to wait until the end of the night to join the fun inside! There will be free cookies & hot cocoa for families, along with meet & greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
SANTA & MRS. CLAUS:
Santa will be in the Great Hall earlier this year, giving families with smaller children the chance to get pictures with Santa before the parade event starts! Visits will take place from 5 PM to 7 PM (or so) and then resume once Santa takes a brief break to join his reindeer in the parade!
TREE LIGHTING:
Join Mayor Katie on the 400 Block following the parade for the Annual lighting of Downtown Wausau’s Holiday Tree!

The parade is a FREE event for all families. Please make sure you dress warmly and bring a chair to watch the parade.
