August 13 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Welcome to Eland Day 2022!
It’s time to enjoy the classics…trains, cars, music, food and shopping!
Admission is free for this family friendly event that runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday August 13, 2022, and is held on our Depot grounds in the center of our community. Not sure where Eland is? Set your GPS to the Mountain Bay Bar & Grill, and it will bring you right to us!
Eland Day features C & NW Railroad memorabilia and free train rides on a 1927 D-17 Plymouth Locomotive. Also on display is the Village’s fully restored 1929 Victor-Ford model AA fire truck. The Eland Depot will be open and full of railroad, fire department, baseball, and municipal history, just waiting to be explored. The Eland Village Hall will also be packed with a huge display of municipal and local government history.
Highlights of this years’ event include the Ol’ Flames Car Club bringing in some eye candy for our guests. Live music will be on site, with Steve Anderson from 11-1 pm, and Marty Frei from 1:30-3:30 who will be playing everyone’s favorites and more. We’ve hit all the major fair food groups, with Everythang Taco’s, Wittenberg Lions Cheese Curds, Troop 445 Boy Scouts (brats and hot dogs), C & H Just Chillin Ice-Cream, and Schultz’s Sugar River Kettle Corn providing all your summer favorites. 50+ vendors will be selling everything but the kitchen sink (although, you never know what the flea marketers will bring in), with more vendors being added daily!
