A Night for Our Neighbors Benefit Show
March 3 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for “A Night For Our Neighbors” Friday, March 3rd at Whitewater Music Hall! A rather unlikely, but surely delightful combination—comedy and bluegrass, take the stage to raise funds for The Neighbors’ Place and increase awareness around food insecurity here in Marathon County. The show will be hosted by the hilarious Mary Mack, a Northern Wisconsin native who, like many of us Wisconsinites, has a self-proclaimed cheese dependency. Mary is an accomplished comic and has been a guest on the Conan O’Brien Show as well as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Award-winning bluegrass musician Nick Dumas headlines this show with an all-star band line up. Jim Van Cleve, Rick Faris and Maddie Dalton join Nick for two impressive sets of bluegrass. We are sure this night will get you toe tappin’ and knee slappin’!
The Neighbors’ Place helps those in need in north central Wisconsin by providing food, basic necessities, and education, connecting guests with services, and treating everyone with dignity and respect. We are Marathon County’s largest food panty, serving over 400 households each week and over 25,000 individuals annually.
The Market at The Neighbors’ Place is a “Safe & Healthy Food Pantry” which means we highlight and prioritize healthy food options for our guests. We partner with Marathon County Hunger Coalition and local farms to procure high quality produce seasonally. We are continually learning and expanding our selection to meet the diverse cultural needs of our community.
